Application of the Year’s Motto

Practical Application of the Motto

as decided by the leaders in October 2019

  1. Stress the Schoenstatt Hour and bring the motto into the conversation
Take the time as a couple on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis to address the things that prevent or help you live and secure unity in marriage and family.
  1. Say the motto after every decade  of the Rosary
Pray the Rosary together as a couple or as a family and in between the decades recall the words of our motto.

Apostolic Deeds

  1. Reach out one family or one couple that you want to bring to the shrine or invite to your home shrine. Treat them as the Blessed Mother would treat them.
  2. Invite your parish priest for dinner   to see your home shrine and come to know the blessings. Make sure your parish priest knows Schoenstatt is an option.

On Fire, We Go Forward!

On the 18th of each month, we direct our attention to some words from Father J. Kentenich, from the Monday night talks, on the meaning of our covenant, our spirituality, and married life. In the next months, we will continue to retrieve from the same source but focusing on the graces of the sacrament of marriage as suggested by the leader couples in October 2019.

The wealth contained in those talks to the couples in Milwaukee seems inexhaustible. The needs of our families are endless, too. Pressing toward the future with the desire to know more about our branch, we wish to shape it more strongly, from within. Wanting to build it up with its original apostolic character, we venture to discover the wealth of the Monday Evening talks

through the brief monthly reflection sent via email. Through family events and reflections, we

Discover On Monday Evenings (DOME) its history, message, and relevance for today.

Points for Discussion Material
