What is family mission camp? 

  • Is an opportunity for Catholic families to deepen their faith and
  • share this richness with other families seeking to strengthen their bond with God,
  • in order to counteract the impact of today’s culture and negative trends.

as Missionary, Participant, or Volunteer

Session 1: Thursday, 8/3 – Saturday 8/5      ~   Session 2: Sunday 8/6 – Tuesday 8/8

Missionary Families

  • Stay for three days
  • Session 1: Th-Sat / Session 2: Sun-Tue
  • Receive formation,
  • Help prepare the outreach,
    1. in order to create the space,
    2. accompany the families, and
    3. share effective tools for family life.

Participant Families

  • Stay overnight
  • Session 1: Fr-Sat  / Session 2: Mon-Tue
  • Through workshops and conversations,
  • they take in a message of:
    1. Resilience and Trust
    2. Embracing Fragilities With Love
    3. Openness and Communication

Volunteers

  • Stay the time they have available
  • Anytime: Thursday 8/3 – Tuesday 8/8
  • Options of tasks include
    1. Kitchen and dining room
    2. Media: Photos and Video
    3. Liturgy: Music and readings
    4. Recreation: Arts, Crafts, and Games

All missionaries and volunteers, 18 and older, must complete VIRTUS training under the Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary. Find out more in your registration form.
